July 21 (early hours), 2013: That’s a wrap for Lucy Fry (Lissa), Sarah Hyland (Natalie) and Zoey Deutch (Rose)! Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters is OFFICIALLY WRAPPED!!

July 20, 2013: That’s a wrap for Dominic Sherwood (Christian)

July 19, 2013: That’s a wrap for Danila Kozlovsky (Dimitri)

July 18, 2013: That’s a wrap for Cameron Monaghan (Mason)

May 25, 2013: Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters Cast Dinner in London.

May 23, 2013: OVAM flys out of LA bound for London.

May 20, 2013: The producers post on OVAM a behind the scenes photo of the cast which revealing even more cast members.

May 18, 2013: More casting announcements for Gabriel Byrne as Victor Dashkov, Sarah Hyland as Natalie Dashkov. Joely Richardson cast as Queen Tatiana and Dominic Sherwood cast as Christian Ozera.

May 14, 2013: Daniel Waters explains to fans on OVAM why the character of Eddie Castle won’t be appearing in a VA movie until Vampire Academy: Frostbite (VA#2).

May 13, 2013: Cast members begin to fly to London to film Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters.

May 10, 2013: Casting announcements for Cameron Monaghan (Mason Ashford), Sami Gayle (Mia Rinaldi), Claire Foy (Sonya Karp) and Ashley Charles (Jesse Zeklos)

April 29, 2013: Olga Kurylenko announced to be cast as Headmistress Ellen Kirova.

April 1, 2013: Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters was officially declared GREEN LIT!

March 16, 2013: #VAMovie and #BloodSisters trends for the first time on twitter! And then again on March 17, 2013!

March 5, 2013: Zoey Deutch (Rose) tweets that she is in training for OVAM and #GuardiansInTraining begins!

February 10, 2013: Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters gets given a February 14, 2014 WORLDWIDE release date and VA fans everywhere start planning their 2014 Valentine’s Date a year early!

February 10, 2013: The Weinstein Company joins OVAM as the official US distributor.

February 1, 2013: OVAM announces the change of name from Vampire Academy to Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters causing the VA fandom to meltdown. This prompted explanations from the director Mark Waters, producer Mike Preger and Richelle Mead.

February 1, 2013: Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry and Danila Kozlovsky were announced to be cast as Rose Hathaway, Lissa Dragomir and Dimitri Belikov!

January 30, 2013: OVAM hits 250,000 fans!

December 19, 2012: Don Murphy announces Mark Waters (Mean Girls) has been hired as OVAM’s director and says casting begins immediately!

December 7, 2012: VA fans get an early Christmas present when Don Murphy announced the movie had a script written by screenwriter Daniel Waters (Heathers)!

December 6, 2012: Producer Don Murphy started a countdown on the OVAM wall the sending fans crazy trying to work out what it was for!

October 20, 2012: Round two of the OVAM casting polls begin.

July 10, 2011: The first OVAM casting poll would began with two new casting polls to be released every Monday until the whole series was ‘fan casted’.

July 5, 2010: It was announced that producer Don Murphy (Transformers) had joined the VA family.

July 2010 – December 2012: Producers Mike Preger and Don Murphy search for Hollywood Studios while OVAM grows rapidly from 10,000 to 200,000+ fans.

July 2, 2010: The Official VAMPIRE ACADEMY Movie (OVAM)facebook page was created!

June 28, 2010: Preger Entertainment (Headed by Michael Preger (Village of the Damned)) acquired the film rights to the Vampire Academy series.
